Man Struck In Downtown Los Angeles By Two Hit and Run Drivers

According to the Los Angeles police spokesman Sgt. Paul Sanfilippo the double hit and run accident occurred at approximately 10:15 p.m. in the vicinity of San Pedro Street, downtown Los Angeles.

When the accident occurred the victim who is approximately 20 years old and whose name has not been released of the hit and run accident was crossing San Pedro Street. While crossing the street he was struck by a small white vehicle and knocked to the ground. The driver of the vehicle did not stop to render aid and while lying on the ground the young man was then struck by a second vehicle. This driver also left the scene without stopping to render aid. There has been no description of this vehicle released at this time.

The young man whose name has not been released has been reported to be in critical condition after the double hit and run accident.
