A car accident due to a driver running stop sign occurred in San Luis Orcutt, which is the scene of an accident sent two people to the hospital and one person was pronounced dead according to reports from the scene of the serious car accident.
The two who were taken to the hospital were kept with injuries that ranged from moderate to minor; the identity of the person killed in the accident has not been released pending notification of their next of kin.
Three autos were involved in this car accident, where it has been reported that Ramon Baez a 67-year-old Morro Bay resident failed to come to a stop at a stop sign. This failure to stop resulted in the three car accident Monday afternoon according to reports.
This occurred at the intersection of Orcutt and Righetti roads, according to the California Highway Patrol. These roads are located east of San Luis Obispo on the afternoon of January 28th.
It took approximately two hours for the accident scene to be cleared and both lanes of traffic were closed during this time, which was outside of the city limits.
A spokesman for the California Highway Patrol stated that stop signs such as this one should be approached with caution, as often they are blind spots for some motorists, which results in accidents that could be avoided if approached with caution. Los Angeles accident lawyers deal with these same issues often and are awaiting your call if you were hurt in a serious injury in LA or Orange County.
