Motorist and Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Collide—Both Hospitalized

According to reports by auto accident lawyers in Los Angeles, an accident occurred when a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy identified as Deputy Brian Harper was responding to a call and collided with a local horse trainer identified as Arthur Lerille age 72.

The accident occurred in the vicinity of Covina when Deputy Harper ran a red light while responding to a call and collided with Lerille who was driving a 1989 Cadillac. Both men were severely injured and were transported to the hospital.

Deputy Harper was transported to Foothill Presbyterian Hospital, with spinal cord injuries and several broken bones according to reports. According to Lt. Roxanna Hard of the San Dimas Station, Deputy Harper is improving and is lucky to be able to move and is expected to survive.

Lerille was transported to the Pomona Valley Hospital with head and arm injuries and was placed in the intensive care unit. According to his wife Cindy Lerille, Arthur suffered short term memory, gashes on his head and he will require surgery on his left arm.

Lerille was on his way to work at the Santa Anita racetrack when the accident occurred after Harper ran a red light.

According to California Highway Patrol spokesman Edmund Zorrilla the accident occurred at approximately 5:15 a.m. at the intersection of Arrow Highway and Sunflower Avenue where Deputy Harper ran a red light while responding to a call of a man with a gun. Officer Zorrilla also stated that neither driver was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

Angeles National Forest Accident Deadly

According to reports by Glendora mountain car accident lawyers, there was a fatal single car accident in the Angeles National Forest in the area near Glendora that turned deadly.

It was reported that the single car accident occurred at approximately 4:00 a.m. in the vicinity of Glendora Mountain road and Glendora Ridge Road according to Los Angeles County Fire Department supervisor Michael Pittman.

According to Supervisor Pittman the car slid approximately 100 feet down the side of Glendora Mountain Road. Pittman also stated that one person was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and a passenger in the vehicle was transported to a local hospital.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident scene. There have been no other details about the accident release and the identity of the person that sustained fatal injuries was no released.

Deftones Bassist Involved In Accident

According to reports by automobile accident lawyers, the bassist for the band Deftones from Sacramento identified as Chi Cheng, was involved in an auto accident and sustained serious injuries.

According to reports Cheng age 38 is listed in serious but stable condition following the accident and is in an Intensive Care Unit, though the hospital has not been named. There have been some reports that the bassist was comatose and the car crash occurred in Santa Clara. The accident was confirmed by Warner Bros., which stated that Cheng was in serious but stable condition.

Band members have also made similar statements and have stated they are on their way to the hospital to be by his side.

There has been no information released about the car accident, or details about what might have caused the crash at this time.

Keanu Reeves Wins Law Suit Filed By Paparazzo Alison Silva

According to reports by auto accident lawyers in Los Angeles, after deliberating for approximately minutes Friday and three hours Monday a jury who has heard all the testimony and a video have decided in favor of Keanu Reeves in the suit against him.

The suit was filed by Alison Silva and argued by his attorney seeking a total of $711,974 in damages, which included hospital bills, lost wages and punitive damages after a March 2007 incident. Silva claimed that Reeves had struck him and knocked him down with Porsche Reeves was driving and doing permanent damage to his wrist.

The jury after hearing from both attorneys, testimony from Reeves, testimony from Silva and a video tape of Silva using the damaged wrist while climbing down from a chain link fence after taking pictures of Britney Spears. The court proceedings went on for five days and each of the days Reeves was present in the courtroom.

The decision by the jury against Silva means Keanu Reeves auto accident damages will not be paying any of the $711, 974. Silva had been suing Reeves.

Jury Gets Paparazzi’s Suit Against Keanu Reeves

Friday the attorney’s for both Keanu Reeves and photographer Alison Silva made their closing arguments to the jury who then when to deliberate the case for a short amount of time prior to leaving for the weekend. The jury will resume Monday.

This law suit filed by Silva after an incident that occurred March of 2007, when Silva was trying to photograph Keanu Reeves. Silva claims that Reeves driving a Porsche knocked him down and because of this he has permanent damage to his wrist.

Sliva’s attorney Joseph Farzam has argued that Reeves hit Silva with his car and knocked him down, leaving him with wrist injuries that will not heal. Silva is seeking $640,800 in the suit filed against Reeves. Reeves claims that it was an auto accident. Many speculate there was no need to hire a Los Angeles automobile accident attorney at all and it was just a set up.

Reeves attorney Alfred Gerisch argued that Silva placed his hand on the hood of the vehicle and fell on his own.
