Two Accidents Cause SigAlert on I-5 Freeway

October 30, 2009 (by Horatio Algren) According to reports two separate accidents caused a SigAlert to be issued by the California Highway Patrol. According to the California Highway Patrol the SigAlert for the two separate accidents was issued at 11:22 a.m. and canceled at 12.34 p.m.

The first accident involved two vehicles and the backup from the accident according to the California Highway Patrol might have lead to the second four car crash.

The second car accident involved four vehicles and fuel was spilled on the connector road between the westbound 22 Freeway and the northbound I-5 Freeway. The California Highway Patrol officer Gabe Montoya stated that an ambulance responded to the scene of the accident, but the extent of any injuries was not known.
