Driver Suspected Of DUI Crashes Into Los Angeles Police Car

According to reports by car accident lawyers in Los Angeles, a man identified as George Angulo is suspected of allegedly driving under the influence at the time he crashed into a Los Angeles Police Department cruiser.

Angulo age 45 and resident of Los Angeles according to reports by the Los Angeles Police Department allegedly ran a stop sign while driving a Hummer in the vicinity of West Avenue 36 and Portner Street in the Glassell Park area.

Anglulo struck a Los Angeles Police Department patrol car at approximately 5:10 p.m. as a result of the crash two police officers were injured and transported to the hospital after the accident. One of the L.A. police officers was treated and then released, the other officer sustained injuries including a broken leg according to Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman Karen Smith.

Six Car Pileup Caused By East Los Angeles Car Race

According to reports by six car pile accident attorneys, there war a six car pile up on the 60 Freeway was caused by street racing, closing the westbound lanes of the freeway.

According to Supervising Dispatcher Bryan Webb of the Los Angeles County Fire Department it is believed two cars were racing on the Pomona Freeway, the pileup occurred at approximately 3:47 a.m. in the vicinity west of Indiana Street and the Long Beach Freeway. The crash occurred when one of the drivers lost control of their vehicle and caused several cars to collide.

Webb stated that after the crash at least one vehicle caught fire and witnesses to the crash assisted in pulling several of the victims from the vehicles on fire.

Officer David Porter of the California Highway Patrol stated that the westbound lanes of the 60 Freeway were closed from approximately 4:30 to 6:00 a.m. There was one person transported to the Los Angeles County USC Medical Center and listed in critical condition, another person was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Driver Killed In 100 Mile An Hour Crash

According to police a man in his 20’s was speeding at approximately 100 miles per hour on Parthenia at approximately 1:00 a.m. when he failed to stop for a red light and struck another vehicle causing him to lose control of the vehicle he was driving. Man Arrested In Suspected Hit and Run Injury Of Two Teenagers

According to police reports a man identified as Michael Tweedie age 35 was arrested for alleged hit and run that injured two teenagers.

Tweedie a resident of Rohnert Park was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and hit and run that caused serious injury.

According to police the two girls who were injured were struck by the vehicle while waiting at a bus stop with their father who was identified as Asefredo Pineda. Pineda stated that the pickup truck Tweedie was driving struck a van before striking the two girls.

The two girls were Pinedas 13 year old daughter that suffered severe injuries and was airlifted to Children’s Hospital in Oakland and his 16 year old daughter that was listed in serious condition at a local hospital. Pickup Truck Slams Into Apartment—Driver Suspected Of DUI

According to reports by car accident lawyers in Los Angeles, a pickup truck slammed into an apartment doing extensive damage while family was sleeping, police suspect the driver was under the influence at the time of the crash.

According to Santa Ana Police Commander Larry Coleman the driver of the vehicle was identified as Miguel Angel Diaz age 23, who was driving south on Fairview Street when he swerved off of the road hitting water sprinklers and a palm tree prior to crashing into an apartment at 401 North Fairview Street.

The apartment Diaz drove into was occupied by the manager of the Santa Ana Mini Storage and his family, who were sleeping when Diaz pickup truck drove through the living room and out of the other side of the building according to Commander Coleman. None of the family members were injured when the vehicle slammed into their home.

According to police reports Diaz was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and driving without a license, he was also charged with an open container of alcohol.
