May 24, 2010 (by Horatio Algren) According to reports a two accident occurred killing three people in the Sherman Oaks district.
According to the California Highway Patrol there were three people fatally injured in an accident that occurred at approximately 2:10 a.m. on Sunday on U.S. 101 in Los Angeles.
The accident occurred in the Sherman Oaks district when the three people that had been involved in a crash on the Southern California freeway were exchanging information and were struck by another vehicle. According to California Highway Patrol Officer Anthony Martin the three were struck by a 2000 BMW, there were two men and a woman killed, along with another man that was injured.
The traffic on U.S. 101 eastbound lanes were closed with the exception of one lane for several hours after the accident.
