January 15, 2011 (by Horatio Algren) According to reports an Anaheim woman was killed in a collision in Lake Forest Friday.
The Anaheim woman identified as Nicole Davenport age 23 was involved in a collision at a Lake Forest intersection Friday.
According to Sheriff’s Deputy Wayne Howard , the collision occurred in when Davenport was traveling westbound in a 2009 Hyundai on Bake Parkway, making a left hand turn onto Northpointe Drive. A 2007 Toyota Tacoma was traveling eastbound on Bake Parkway and struck Davenport’s Hyundai on the passenger side.
Sheriff’s Deputy Howard stated one of the vehicles ran a red light causing the collision, but it is unclear which vehicle ran the light.
According to Howard, the Anaheim woman was transported to Mission Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The eastbound lanes of Bake Parkway were closed between Northpointe and Commercentre Drive while the vehicles were cleared from the roadway.
