Anaheim Crash Fatal for One Woman

August 7, 2011 (by Horatio Algren) According to reports an Anaheim crash was fatal for one woman, who has been identified. One other crash victim was critically injured in the head-on crash. According to Anaheim Police Sgt. Bob Dunn a Friday head-on crash occurred in the 2700 block of West Ball road that was fatal for a woman.

The head-on Anaheim car accident collision happened at the intersection of Ball Road and Magnolia Avenue.
There were three moving vehicles and two parked vehicles involved in the fatal crash, as stated by police. Anaheim Coroners officials have identified the driver in the fatal head-on crash as Dellene Burgeson age 51 of Anaheim.

Sgt. Dunn said, witnesses reported that Burgeson, who was driving a Lincoln, was traveling westbound on West Ball Road, when her vehicle crossed the divider into oncoming traffic. The Lincoln Bergeson was driving struck a Mazda and overturned. The man in the Mazda was transported to the hospital with critical injuries.

The third moving vehicle that was involved in the head-on collision, there were no reported injuries. According to Sgt. Dunn Bergson was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash and investigators are continuing their investigation into what caused the Lincoln to veer into oncoming traffic.
