Freeway Hit and Run Crash Injures Motorist and Causes SigAlert to be Issued

December 12, 2011 - According to reports a motorist was injured in a hit and run crash. According to the California Highway Patrol the hit and run accident occurred at approximately 5:03 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the 22 Freeway in the vicinity of the Magnolia Street exit.

The California Highway Patrol said a SigAlert was issued at approximately 5:48 a.m. and ended at about 7:18 a.m. The motorist that was involved in the hit and run crash was transported to UCI Medical Center, with unknown injuries, the California Highway Patrol stated.
