November 30, 2011 - According to reports three lanes of the 60 West Freeway were closed after a collision. According to the California Highway Patrol a collision occurred at approximately 6:40 a.m. on 60 West and at the 605 connector.
The California Highway Patrol closed the three right lanes on the 60 West Freeway and two right lanes on the 605 Freeway south connector. They stated that the traffic was backed up to Azusa Avenue on the 60 West Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol the collision involved at least six cars and a big rig, with injuries reported. CHP officials did not know the extent of the injuries.
The California Highway Patrol said that the six car collision included a black truck that crashed into several of the cars after the driver passed out on the 60 West Freeway at the 605 Freeway connector.
