Multi-Vehicle Crash Involves Transit Bus that Blocks the Bay Bridge

December 5, 2011 - According to reports a multi-vehicle collision involved a transit bus that blocked lanes of the Bay Bridge tying up traffic.

According to the California Highway Patrol the collision was reported at approximately 6:09 a.m. Monday morning, in the vicinity of the westbound lanes before Treasure Island.
The multi-vehicle collision involved three vehicles and an AC Transit bus, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The multi-vehicle bus accident resulted in one person suffering minor injuries and being transported to an area hospital. The collision caused two of the left lanes to be blocked for approximately forty minutes and caused traffic to be congested for the remainder of the morning commute, the California Highway Patrol stated.
