December 20, 2011 - According to reports a woman that was injured in a crash that caused the car to rollover in Corona crawled to the roadway for help. According to California Highway Patrol they received reports at approximately 11:30 p.m. of a car traveling the wrong way on Interstate 15 in the vicinity of Temescal Canyon Road.
The California Highway Patrol stated that officer drove to the area, but did not find the vehicle or the driver. According to California Highway Patrol the woman that was injured in the crash crawled approximately 100 yards to the side of Temescal Canyon Road. The woman was found by a worker that called 911.
The worker stated that the woman had a broken ankle that was bleeding and was suffering from other injuries. The unidentified worker said that he called the woman’s mother that came to the scene and accompanied her daughter to the hospital.
The injured woman was transported to Inland Valley Medical Center Hospital, according to the California Highway Patrol. The California Highway Patrol said that they are unsure of what caused the accident and do not know if alcohol was a factor.
