Freeway Chain Reaction Causes Anaheim Traffic Backup

April 28, 2011 - According to reports by Ehline Law Firm PC car accident attorney, a chain reaction crash caused a traffic back up in Anaheim.

According to the California Highway Patrol the accident occurred at approximately 8:05 a.m. in the vicinity east of North East Street. The collision involved a Chevrolet Camaro that rear ended a Ford Explorer, which caused the chain reaction and the Explorer was pushed into the rear end of a Toyota Corollla.

According to the California Highway Patrol officer at the scene of the crash there were no injuries reported. He stated that the driver of the Camaro was uninjured, but the airbags had deployed and the vehicle was disabled and had to be towed from the scene.
The collision blocked the westbound No. 2 lane on the 91 Freeway, causing a SigAlert to be issued that was canceled at 8:44 a.m.

Three Vehicle Collision Closes Lanes of the 405 Freeway

April 27, 2011 - According to reports a three vehicle collision closed lanes of the 405 Freeway.

According to the California Highway Patrol the collision occurred at approximately 10:59 a.m. on the I-405 Freeway. The crash happened south of Edwards Street in the northbound lanes, according to CHP officer Sgt. Damaris Laureano.

Sgt. Laureano stated there were three vehicles involved in the collision and three people were transported to the hospital. The injuries of the car accident victims were not released.

Two Vehicle Crash Sends Pickup into a Building

April 25, 2011 - According to reports a two vehicle crash caused a pickup to crash into a building.

According to California Highway Patrol Officer Todd Kovaletz a crash involving an SUV and a pickup truck occurred at Red Hill Avenue and Irvine Boulevard in the unincorporated area of Tustin.

The collision sent a pickup into the side of a building at Red Hill Avenue and Irvine. Officer Kovaletz stated that one of the drivers was arrested at the scene of the crash on suspicion of driving under the influence. He also stated the cause of the collision was unknown.

The California Highway Patrol is asking any witnesses to come forward.

Santa Ana Collision Causes Woman to be Cut From Car After Rolling Over

April 22, 2011 - According to reports an early morning collision resulted in a woman needing to be cut out of her vehicle.

According to Battalion Chief Jim Henery the collision involved a grey Honda Element and a red sedan and occurred at approximately 11:00 a.m. The collision occurred in the northbound lanes of northbound lanes of Main Street.

The crash caused the Honda Element to roll onto its side, according to Battalion Chief Henery. The driver, identified as a woman in her 30’s in the Element had to be cut out of the vehicle and was transported to the UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange after complaining of pain.

Henrey stated that in his experience, the injuries were significant, but not life threatening.

Pickup Truck Rolls Over After Crash

April 19, 2011 - According to reports a pickup truck involved in a collision rolled over on its side.

The accident occurred at approximately 8:25 a.m., according to Sgt. Derrick Vincent. The Westminster accident involved a Toyota Solara and a Toyota Tacoma that collided at West McFadden Avenue and South Golden West Avenue in Westminster.

According to Sgt. Vincent the Tacoma pickup rolled over on its side, but the driver was able to push out the shattered windshield and get out of the truck. Sgt. Vincent stated there were no injuries in the collision.

Anaheim Two Vehicle Crash Blocks Lanes

April 13, 2011 - According to reports by the Anaheim PD, America's Finest, a two vehicle collision in Anaheim block lanes of traffic.

According to Anaheim Police Department Officer Paul Munoz, the two vehicle collision occurred at approximately 12:57 p.m. on Anaheim Boulevard.

The collision involved a Chevy S10 pickup truck and an Acura Legend with the collision blocking one of the southbound lanes and one of the northbound lanes of Anaheim Boulevard. Two of the westbound lanes of Lincoln Avenue were also blocked due to the collision.

According to Officer Munoz the cause of the two vehicle collision remains under investigation.

Multi-vehicle Crash Blocks Lanes on the Southbound I-405

April 11, 2011 - According to reports a multi-vehicle crash caused the southbound lanes of the 405 Freeway. According to the California Highway Patrol the multi-vehicle crash blocked No. 1, 2 and carpool lanes of the southbound lanes of the 405 Freeway.

The accident was reported to the California Highway Patrol at approximately 8:44 a.m. in the vicinity north of McFadden Avenue in Huntington Beach. The multi-vehicle crash involved a Ford Thunderbird that was struck by a Nissan Altima and then rear ended by Toyota Echo.

According to the driver of the Nissan Altima, Jiten Bhakta age 22, the driver of the Ford Thunderbird slammed on their breaks to avoid hitting a van that was stalled and he was not able to stop in time to avoid hitting the Thunderbird. The California Highway Patrol stated that the van pulled over on the side of the freeway and it is unclear if it was involved in the multi-vehicle crash. The driver of the van left before officers arrived at the scene of the crash.

Crash Causes Vehicle to be Trapped Under 7-UP Truck

April 5, 2011-A morning collision caused a vehicle to become trapped underneath of a 7-UP truck.

According to the California Highway Patrol Officer Dana Haskin a car crash was reported at approximately 9:35 a.m. with witnesses stating a vehicle was underneath of a 7-UP truck.

Officer Haskin stated that a passerby helped to remove the driver from a Nissan that was pinned under the truck. The passenger side was wedged underneath of the trailer with just enough room to get the driver out.

According to Officer Haskins the driver was alert, but could not remember what happened and was transported to a local hospital. The crash is under investigation and witnesses have stated the Nissan swerved across lanes and went under the 7-UP truck that was traveling in the No. 2 lane.
