July 27, 2011-According to reports a four car crash in Irvine was fatal for a 22 year old. According to Irvine Police Officer Lt. Julia Engen, police responded to the accident at approximately 4:15 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Rosa Drew Lane and University Drive.
According to the Orange County Coroner the woman killed in the multi-vehicle crash was identified as Elizabeth Eddleman a resident of Irvine. According to police the multi-vehicle collision invoved a 2010 BMW coupe traveling on Rosa Drew Lane that was struck by a 2003 Mercury Mountaineer that was driving west on University Drive. Eddleman, the 22 year old that was killed in the fatal motor vehicle collision was driving the BMW. There was a postal truck and a minivan that were at the intersection.
Authorities stated that Eddleman had to be cut from the car and was transported to the hospital in critical condition, where she later died. Police stated the driver of the Mountaineer struck the driver’s side of the BMW, which caused both vehicles to veer into the postal truck and minivan at the intersection.
The driver of the SUV was identified as a 26 year old woman from Corona del Mar, who was transported to the hospital in serious condition. According to authorities her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
No one in the minivan or the postal truck was injured in the multi-vehicle crash.
The eastbound lanes of University Drive were closed and investigators have not determined yet, which of the vehicle had the right of way at the intersection.

Multi-Vehicle 405 Freeway Crash Injures Four
July 21, 2011-According to reports an I 405 Freeway crash injured four people in Costa Mesa. According to authorities the crash occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m. on the I 405 Freeway in the vicinity of the northbound 55 Freeway, involving three vehicles.
The multi-vehicle crash involved three vehicles, a Toyota Tundra, a Scion xB and a Ford Expedition.
According to Costa Mesa Fire Department acting battalion Chief Fred Seguin, there were two people transported to Western Medical Center, in Santa Ana, with traumatic injuries and two other people transported to a hospital in the vicinity with minor injuries.
Seguin stated that there were three ambulances and thirteen firefighters that responded to the scene of the crash.
According to the California Highway Patrol stated the scene of the crash was cleared and the highway reopen within a short amount of time. Lakers Forward Lamar Odom Involved in Car Crash
July 18, 2011-According to reports Lakers forward Lamar Odom was involved in a car crash on Thursday.
According to reports the Lakers forward was in his hometown of Queens New York when the accident occurred in his Jamaica neighborhood for a funeral of his cousin. Odom was reportedly was in a chauffeur driven car that allegedly caused a motorcycle accident and a pedestrian injury involving a 15 year old pedestrian.
The motorcyclist and the 15 year old pedestrian were transported to the hospital with
serious injuries, according reports. Odom was said to be uninjured, but shaken up from the collision, but uninjured and wife Khloe Kardashian was not in the chauffer driven vehicle at the time of the crash.
A spokeswoman for Odom spoke with ESPN L.A. Dave McMenamin stating the Los Angeles Lakers forward would release a statement at a later time.
The names of the motorcycle rider and the pedestrian have not been released, but it has been reported both were admitted to Elmhurst Hospital.
