Traffic Accident Damages Recovery Checklist
Traffic accidents are devastating to all involved. And most people don't carry around a traffic accident damages checklist with them, so we created one for you, the car accident victims. It is important for any driver to be prepared in case they are ever involved in an accident, particularly if they are victims of another person’s negligence. Knowing what to do at the scene, getting the right type of care, and hiring a traffic accident attorney can help protect the victim of a traffic collision from medical, legal, and financial damage later.
Immediately after an accident, the victim of a traffic accident should do the following:
• Call the authorities, or make sure someone else calls them.
• Do not leave the scene.
• Do not admit or discuss liability with any party at the scene. This should only be discussed with your own traffic accident attorney.
• Do not sign any documents that aren’t approved by a traffic accident attorney hired by you.
• Gather as much information as possible from the other parties including driver’s license number, address, phone numbers, and place of work.
• Take pictures of the scene, your automobile, any damage, and any injuries you have.
• Never refuse medical care; first responders are experienced in determining if the victim of traffic accidents is stable enough to be conveyed to another location.
• Always seek medical evaluation in a hospital setting if there are even minor accidents.
• Call a personal injury attorney immediately, even before calling your own insurance.
Once the victim is conveyed to a hospital, testing and treatment can begin immediately, limiting the damage of some injuries that do continued damage without necessarily showing symptoms for hours or even days. Throughout the early days of treatment, a traffic accident attorney can help facilitate treatment, verify that proper and needed treatments are available to the victim, and even provide for continued treatment long-term if needed through the settlement process.
Once the victim is stabilized and undergoing treatment, the attorney will begin to gather facts, evidence, experts, and other important supports to the victim’s future case against the negligent party. The victim benefits from the attorney and his staff handling the paperwork, understanding and educating the victim on the process and deadlines, and facilitating the case. If the other party’s insurance company offers an early settlement, the traffic accident attorney can verify whether or not that settlement is appropriate to the current and future needs of the victim. Often these early settlement offers are low and insufficient; if so, the attorney can fight for the proper settlement in court.
In court, a traffic accident attorney will fight the accusations and minimizations that the other side will try to throw at the victim. Additionally, the information he gathered to support the victim’s case will lend credence to it, and more success to the case itself. Victims who hire traffic accident attorneys like me who take the time to write a Traffic Accident Damages Recovery Checklist, will enjoy greater success rates, less frustration, and much higher settlements as a result.

The Benefits to the Car Crash Victim of Hiring an Auto Accident Lawyer
Areas of California with high traffic such as Modesto, Oakland, and Los Angeles, are often plagued by car accidents. The costs and injuries resulting from these car crashes are often devastating to the victim and their family. Ideally, one should be able to count on the negligent party to pay for all damages; however, we do not live in an ideal world. Realistically, the victim of car accidents should always be prepared to protect themselves and their families by hiring an auto accident lawyer immediately after an accident.
A qualified auto accident lawyer protects the victim of car collisions by ensuring their current and future medical needs are met. They also protect the victim from blame shifting, aggressive insurance agency tactics, and financial ruin by seeking recompense from the negligent party in court.
Most victims of a car wreck, already facing the prospect of high medical bills, might wonder why they should hire a car auto accident lawyer. The victim might be concerned that they are adding more bills to an already mounting pile. They may assume that lawyer fees are high and must always be paid up front. The victim also may not be aware of the many benefits the auto accident lawyer can offer a car crash victim through their resources and through a settlement process, such as:
Ease as the victim will not have to personally handle the legal paperwork and regulations.
Historically more successful cases than those handled alone. Immensely greater settlement amounts; true coverage for future needs.
Peace of mind and a return to financial security
The victim might wonder: but at what cost? Fortunately, a more experienced and successful auto accident attorney can offer these services to a car crash victim on a contingency fee basis. This allows the victim to pay for the services out of the settlement, rather than during this process. Considering that settlements are vastly greater with attorney help, the victim of a car accident can hardly afford to be without an auto accident lawyer in this time of need.

Car Accident Attorneys Offer Many Benefits to the Victim
With the number of car accidents that happen each year in California cities such as San Diego, Fresno, and Santa Ana, it is important that there is a way for victims of accidents to protect themselves. If the car accident is caused by another’s negligence, many victims choose to hire an accident attorney to protect their rights and make the process more certain for them. No one wants to be left with bills for medical care and other losses that someone else caused.
Many people have learned the hard way that insurance companies, no matter if they are employed by the victim or the negligent party, don’t necessarily always live up to the promises on their commercials of taking good care of the victim. Many insurance companies, and their attorneys, are more bent on taking care of themselves to the loss of the victim.
A victim of a car accident might wonder if they can afford an accident attorney. Thankfully, some of the best car accident attorneys work on a contingency fee basis, allowing the victim to pay in the end out of the final settlement. Seeing as car accident attorneys historically bring much larger settlements to the victim, this arrangement is very beneficial to the victim. Considering the types of benefits a car accident attorney brings to the victim, there are many more rewards than there will ever be costs to the victim.
One of the main concerns of the victim will be taking care of immediate medical issues. Medical care is expensive these days, and even the victim’s insurance may not readily agree to pay for procedures and testing that the victim desperately needs. A qualified car accident attorney can help the victim get immediate testing and treatment when they need it, not when the other party eventually agrees (if they ever agree). Even future medical costs can be figured into the settlement, leaving the victim protected for the long term. If the insurance company offers a settlement early, the car accident attorney at Ehline Law Firm PC 633 West Fifth Street, 28th Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90071, 213.596.9642, can further protect the victim by making sure the insurance company isn’t offering too low a settlement.
If you or your loved one is the victim of a attorney car accident, hiring an attorney can help you proceed with medical care, regain your losses more thoroughly, and enjoy less frustration and much greater success in court against the other party.

Victims Should Protect Their Interests with an Accident Attorney
Accidents happen every day in cities of California such as Campbell, Claremont, and Covina. People can find themselves injured at no fault of their own at stores, work, the streets, schools, or anywhere. When someone else causes the accident, the victim should consider filing a claim against the negligent party to protect themselves. Expecting that the other party will just step up and do the right thing often leaves the victim untreated, unprotected, and unpaid. Hiring an accident attorney can prevent this mistreatment of the victim from the very start.
When injuries happen, it is vital that the victim receive immediate medical treatment. The victim may not always have insurance to cover their own injuries. If they do have coverage, the insurance company may not agree to all of the treatments that they need, leaving the victim to eventually pay large medical bills. This is absolutely unfair to the victim, whose care should be paid by the negligent party.
Fortunately, a qualified accident attorney often can arrange for immediate evaluation and treatment of the victim’s injuries when treatment is needed, not weeks or months later. Accident attorneys can also accurately estimate what future medical costs can be with their own resources and experts so that when a settlement is requested to repay the victim it is a fair one.
Without an accident attorney, a victim may often be convinced to take an early settlement offered by the other party.
Unfortunately, these settlements are often low and insufficient for the victim’s needs. An experienced accident attorney can determine whether or not the settlement is fair, and demand more for the victim if it is not. If a low or no settlement is forthcoming, the attorney can take the claim to court for the victim. In court, the attorney will be able to provide evidence, experts, and facts to support the victim’s need for full repayment. He can also protect the victim when the other parties shift the blame to the victim to protect themselves.
Additionally, determining the exact party of fault is often complicated and frustrating for someone who isn’t familiar with the legalities of personal injury. An accident attorney can do this for the victim to the satisfaction of the court.
If you or your loved one is the victim of an accident due to another’s negligence of any case, an accident attorney can protect you as you fight for your fair recompense.
