Bicyclist Injured in Roadway Rage Accident

April 9, 2012 - According to reports a bicyclist was injured in a roadway rage incident.

According to member Jennifer Beatty of the L.A. biking community bicyclist Susanna Schick age 42 was injured on Friday night, when a white Lexus allegedly chased her in the vicinity of Spring Street and Second and Third Street.

Schick was reportedly riding in a green bike lane on Spring Street at approximately 11:30 p.m. when the driver of the Lexus traveled across two lanes of traffic and into the bike lane.

Beatty said that Schick and the driver exchanged words, at a traffic signal, prior to being struck and waking up later laying face down in the street.

Scheck suffered three brakes in her pelvis, a broken collarbone and six broken ribs. The Los Angeles Police Department said that they were not aware of the incident and it is unclear if a police report was filed.
