Driver Killed in Collision with a Fire Truck

April 23, 2012 - According to reports a driver was killed on Sunday after colliding with a fire truck in Hesperia. According to police the accident occurred on Sunday morning at approximately 6:15 a.m. in northbound lanes of the 15 Freeway at the Oak Hill off ramp. Police investigators said the driver of the car, identified a 20 year old lost control of the vehicle crashing into the fire truck, while exiting the 15 Freeway that was stopped on the shoulder of the road. The fire truck was pulled onto the shoulder at the off ramp, due to a rollover accident, with its lights on police investigators said. According to police the San Bernardino firefighter in the truck suffered minor injuries in the collision. Police said the accident closed several lanes of the 15 Freeway.
