Responders Rescue One Person In Rollover Crash

April 4, 2012 - According to reports one person was rescued by responders in a Costa Mesa rollover crash. According to the Costa Mesa Police Department Sgt. Zack Hoferitza, the rollover crash occurred on South Coast Drive and Harbor Boulevard, Wednesday Morning.

The accident involved a Toyota Rav4 that was stopped at the intersection, when the crash occurred, involving three vehicles, Sgt. Hoferitza said. The impact of the crash caused the Rav4 to rollover and firefighters had to rescue the driver from the SUV.

Costa Mesa Sgt. Hoferitza said, the driver of the Rav4 suffered moderate injuries in the rollover crash and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Costa Mesa police officials said the cause of the crash was not immediately known and the accident scene was cleared in approximately 45 minutes.

According to Sgt. Hoferitza there were no other reported injuries in the three car crash.
