March 31, 2012 - According to reports at least one person was seriously injured in an Ortega Highway rollover crash.
According to the California Highway Patrol the accident occurred at approximately 1:20 p.m. Saturday on Ortega Highway inside of the Orange County border.
Orange County Fire Authority firefighters responding to the scene said one victim had to be cut out of the vehicle and two others in the vehicle were able to get out on their own.
One person was seriously injured and was transported to Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo by emergency helicopter transport. One person was transported to Inland Valley Medical center in Riverside County, the California Highway Patrol said.
The California Highway Patrol has not released details for the cause of the rollover crash.
