May 21, 2012 - According to reports a by the car accident lawyers attorneys at Ehline Law Firm PC, a vehicle crashed into a Fountain Valley house and the driver left the scene of the crash. According to Fountain Valley Police Department Sgt. Kurt Ulrich the accident occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. Monday in a residential neighborhood at Ellis Avenue and Tamarind Street in Fountain Valley.
Sgt. Ulrich said officers called to the scene found a yellow Honda S2000 that crash through a brick wall and flipped over landing on its side against the wall of the home. Fountain Valley police said the car did not go through the wall of the home and no one inside of the house was injured.
Sgt. Ulrich said that their investigation led them to believe there were two people in the car at the time of the car crash. Only one man was found at the scene of the crash, suffering from a laceration on the head. The person found at the scene was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The other person fled on foot and police are attempting to identify the person that left the scene, Sgt. Ulrich said. The person officers found at the scene was intoxicated, and police are unsure who was driving at the time of the crash, Sgt. Ulrich said.
According to Fountain Valley Police, Ellis Avenue was closed between Brookhurst Street and Bushard Street for several hours.
