Man Killed in Orange Crash Identified
May 17, 2012 - According to reports a man that was killed in a Wednesday crash, after hitting a tree has been identified. According to police the accident occurred at approximately 2:00 p.m. in the 200 block of West Katella Avenue, in the west of Glassell Street.
Police said the man has been identified as Rober Armas age 43 and a resident of Anaheim.
According Armas lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree on the side of the road. He was transported to UCI Medical Center in Orange where he died several hours later. Police investigators believe that Armas may have suffered from a medical condition that caused him to lose control of his vehicle.
Investigators said they are waiting for the results of an autopsy to determine if a medical condition was responsible for him losing control of the vehicle.
