Passenger Suffered Traumatic Injuries When Ejected that Caused a Vegetation Fire

May 17, 2012 - According to reports a passenger was ejected from a vehicle during a rollover crash and suffered traumatic injuries. According to California Highway Patrol Officer Denise Quesada the rollover crash was reported at approximately 12:39 p.m. at Trabuco Canyon Road and Jim Canyon Road. CHP Officer Quesada said that a passenger was ejected from the vehicle and suffered traumatic injuries. The passenger was airlifted from the scene of the rollover crash to an area hospital Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Marc Stone said. Capt. Stone said that the rollover crash ignited a vegetation fire near the road, which firefighters quickly extinguished. According to Capt. Stone there were two other people that suffered non-life threatening injuries in the rollover crash. Stone said they were transported by ambulance to an area hospital. CHP Officer Quesada said that it was not immediately clear what caused the rollover crash.
