June 1, 2012 - According to reports a three vehicle crash occurred on the 57 Freeway, resulting in minor injuries. According to the California Highway Patrol a three vehicle collision occurred in the southbound lanes of the 57 Freeway at approximately 10:00 a.m.
California Highway Patrol Officer Gabe Montoya said that the three vehicle crash occurred in the vicinity south of Tonner Canyon Road in Brea. Officer Montoya said that injuries were reported in the crash, and had no further information. A SigAlert was issued for the carpool lane and the No. 1 lane, while police investigated the scene of the crash and crews removed the debris, CHP Officer Montoya said.
