Two Car Collision in Anaheim Injures Two People

June 26, 2012 - According to reports two people were injured in a two car collision in Anaheim. According to Anaheim Police Officer Doug Elms the two car collision occurred at approximately 7:25 a.m. on Wagner Avenue at Sunkist Street, in Anaheim.

Officer Elms said that the collision involved a Toyota Camry and a Ford Escort. The Ford Escort was traveling westbound on Wagner Avenue and turned south onto Sunkist Street, and was struck by the driver of the Toyota Camry.

According to Anaheim Fire Department Capt. Tom Roach the driver of the Toyota Camry, identified as a male suffered traumatic injuries. Capt. Roach said the driver of the Ford Escort, identified as a woman, suffered minor injuries in the collision.

Capt. Roach said that both drivers were transported to UCI Medical Center in Orange.
Officer Elms said that the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
