July 12, 2012 - According to reports a collision at a Garden Grove intersection resulted in one of the vehicles rolling over.
According to Garden Grove Police Department Investigator Jason Perkins said, the accident occurred at approximately 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of West Street and Orangewood Avenue in Garden Grove.
The collision involved a Suzuki Aerio and a Mitsubishi Lancer that collided at the intersection, causing the Lancer to roll over after impact, Officer Perkins said. The Lancer was traveling northbound on West Street at the time of the collision and the driver of the Suzuki was traveling westbound on Orangwood Avenue.
Officer Perkins said there were conflicting reports, and it is believed the driver of the Suzuki entered the intersection on a red light, colliding with the Lancer.

Captain Cheatham said the man and woman were both transported to UCI Medical Center in Anaheim, with injuries. The young boy was uninjured, but was traumatized by the roll over crash.
A female passenger in the Suzuki was transported to an area hospital, Captain Cheatham said. Northbound lanes of West Street and westbound lanes of Orangewood Avenue, were closed while Garden Grove traffic investigators were at the scene of the collision.
