January 31, 2012 - According to reports by a Los Angeles personal injury attorney at Ehline Law Firm PC, a multi-vehicle crash on the 57 Freeway tied up morning traffic and injured at least one person. According to the California Highway Patrol the collision occurred at approximately 5:40 a.m. and involved three vehicles on the 57 Freeway.
California Highway Patrol Officer P. Gomez said three vehicles were involved in the collision in the vicinity of Lambert Road, blocking the three left lanes. Officer Gomez stated the collision involved a Mazda, a Ford pickup truck and a BMW. The Mazda it is believed veered toward the left, while traveling southbound and stuck the Ford pickup.
The force of the impact caused the truck to hit the BMW, officer Gomez said.
The Ford pickup then crossed all lanes toward the right shoulder of the 57 Freeway and went down an embankment. Officer Gomez said the impact caused the BMW to hit the center divider, causing one person to be injured. The person was transported to an area hospital, with unknown injuries, that were believed to be minor.
According to the California Highway Patrol the three southbound lanes of the 57 Freeway were clear by approximately 6:08 a.m.
